Tour Overview

This incredible combination tour offers the best of both worlds: an up-close encounter with gentle sea turtles at Baraka Natural Aquarium, followed by a magical sunset cruise along Kendwa Beach. Perfect for nature lovers, families, and couples seeking a memorable day in Zanzibar.

Your program will start in the afternoon just after lunch at 1:30 pm. You will be picked up by our driver from your hotel and taken directly to Baraka Aquarium. Baraka Natural Aquarium in Zanzibar is the best turtle sanctuary to enjoy, see, feed, and swim with these beautiful native animals. The turtles are brought to the sanctuary after being caught in fishermen's nets and injured. Once they reach a certain size and recover fully, they are released back into the ocean.

Later, you will be transferred to Kendwa Beach for a spectacular sunset cruising experience. Enjoy one of Zanzibar's most magical moments - romantic, colorful skies, calm waters, and the authentic experience of sailing on a traditional wooden dhow.

Enter the natural pool and interact with the turtles. You can feed them, touch them, and swim alongside these gentle giants. This is a unique opportunity to get up close with rescued turtles that are being rehabilitated for release back into the ocean.

03:30 PM - Free Time & Photos

Enjoy additional time at the aquarium, take photos, and relax. Purchase refreshments if desired.

04:00 PM - Transfer to Kendwa Beach

Depart Baraka Aquarium and transfer to Kendwa Beach for the sunset cruise portion of your tour.

Board a traditional wooden dhow at Kendwa Beach. Set sail along the stunning coastline as the sun begins its descent. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, gentle sea breeze, and spectacular views.
